Native port of macOS-style launchd init / service supervisor to Linux, replacing traditional init systems with XML property list (.plist) manifests.

Pre-configured bootable hybrid ISO (UEFI + BIOS) with PID 1 early boot manager, launchd supervisor, pre-populated /etc/launchdaemons/, and bundled package repo configuration.

Browse packages: /launchd/artix/ (200+ packages including launchd, elogind-launchd, dbus-launchd, networkmanager-launchd, etc.)
architecture & layout
- Entrypoint:
/sbin/init— early mounts (/proc,/sys,/dev,/run), udev hotplug, hostname setup, then execs/usr/bin/launchd. - Daemons:
/etc/launchdaemons/— all system service.plistfiles scanned and managed on boot. - CLI control:
launchctl(commands:list,load <file.plist>,unload <file.plist>,start <label>,stop <label>).
