Rules
To keep things simple, we have a short list of rules.
Server Rules
- zero-tolerance The hosting, sharing, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited by all means.
- Do not host any pornography.
- zero-tolerance Do not harass, stalk, or abuse any of our users.
- zero-tolerance Do not use the server to violate US laws and/or any laws applicable to the state of Washington.
- Do not run any software that will degrade the server's performance.
- Be mindful of your disk usage, the root partition is only 40GB large at the moment.
Rules marked with zero-tolerance are strictly enforced with immediate account termination.
Matrix Rules (matrix.tilde.horse)
The Matrix homeserver operates under the same general principles, with a strong emphasis on free expression alongside basic conduct:
- zero-tolerance The distribution or sharing of CSAM is strictly prohibited by all means.
- zero-tolerance Do not use your Matrix account to blatantly violate US laws or the laws of the state of Washington.
- zero-tolerance Do not engage in targeted harassment, stalking, or abuse of others.
- Speech & Room Conduct: We maintain a broad free speech policy and do not police everyday speech or opinions. However, this is not an absolute free-for-all. Causing intentional disturbances, brigading, or disruptive trolling in rooms where you are expected to behave may result in your account being deactivated.
- Respect room-specific rules and moderation when participating in third-party or federated chatrooms.
